The Tabernacle is the single most detailed building project described in an ancient text, in terms of the function and layout of both the tented structure, and the various implements that were to be used inside.
The 50 cubit by 100 cubit courtyard (75 x 150 feet) will be surrounded by a fence enclosure, Each pillar crafted to the specifications of the Bible. Inside the court are the brazen (copper) altar, and the wash basin (laver) for the cleansing of the hands that would slay the sacrifices. A tent stands in the court, with four colored coverings draped over the gold covered wood walls. Within the tent is the Holy Place , where the lampstand (Menorah), the altar of incense, and the table of Show Bread await your visit. Each glisten of gold, as the walls that surround them. The front of the room has a colorful curtain with the divider to the “Most Holy Place”, the container of the Holy Ark.
